LINKIT OVERVIEW
The LinkIt! Software platform gives both administrators and teachers detailed insights into areas in need of improvement (and areas of strength) at every level of analysis (student, class, school, district etc.) on a single platform with a user-friendly interface and automates many labor and time intensive processes such as test creation, test scoring, and report generation. While there are many assessment systems on the market, the vast majority of these are “program specific,” and do not allow schools and districts the flexibility to create and/or upload assessments from a variety of sources and administer those assessments as often as they see fit. Additionally, few of the assessment systems available provide teachers with access to both real time diagnostic reporting and connections to instructional resources in a single, convenient package. LinkIt!’s research based library of instructional materials in reading and mathematics is directly linked to student performance data and is accessible on-demand with a single click of the mouse directly from diagnostic reports, saving teachers the hassle of having to build their own lesson plans from scratch or find them through open-ended online search. Finally, LinkIt!’s asset-light implementation model requires minimal training and technical support, allowing schools to get up and running quickly without the need to replace existing student information systems or even directly integrate with them. In the not-so-distant future, we see the platform as evolving to transform the way in which school systems access, organize, purchase, deploy, and evaluate digitally delivered educational content, while simultaneously providing an immediate solution to the challenges that many schools are facing right at this very moment.
LOOKING FOR:
Ambitious MBA intern (strategy or finance concentration) looking to accerlate our business development initiatives
Building our partner channel with other for-profit vendors
Self-motivated and quick learner
Diligent, responsible and detailed oriented: takes pride in quality of work
Articulate, confident and communicates clearly both verbally and in written form
Has done prior industry and vendor analysis before
Interested in software, education and strategy
Interest in working with early-stage company
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Identify potential partners in various segments of K-12 ecosystem
Research (compare, contrast, priortize) different vendors in categories
Reach out to various companies to initiate dialogue and help facilitate conversations (screen vendors)
Help structure partnership agreements (distribution) and training
Maintain spreadsheet detailing the status of all business development relations
START DATE & REQUIREMENTS:
Immediate start date or start (6-9 month internship)
Flexible working hours (minimum 10-15 hours per week)
Can work from home most of the time
Need to own your own laptop
Proficient on computer, Microsoft Office and Internet
COMPENSATION:
Non-paid internship
